BIOGRAPHY OF W. ADAM MANDELBAUM ESQ.

  I was born in Manhattan, and raised in Queens and Long Island.  At the age of seventeen I joined the United States Air Force and was assigned to intelligence duties at the National Security Agency, after sixty weeks of training at the Defense Language Institute, (and elsewhere).  I served as a linguist at NSA, and at a remote listening post on what was then the border of Czechoslovakia.  

     After four years of active and honorable service, I became a civilian, and went to live in Mexico, at an international art colony. After six months there, I returned home to commence my formal education. I also started my first business as a janitorial services contractor, which along with the GI Bill, paid for my schooling.  I graduated early from junior college, and entered directly into Hofstra Law School on a special program.  I graduated law school in January 1981, (finishing early) and opened up my office for the practice of law in July of 1981. 

     Since 1981, I have assisted people with family law, criminal law, real estate and commercial litigation matters.  I have successfully taken on such large corporations as GMAC, GAF, Fidelity Bank, CONAIR, and others.

     I have served on the Board of the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, and been a member of the Matrimonial and Criminal Law Committees of the Nassau County Bar Association.  I am a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, and have been internationally published on espionage subjects.  I also authored an on-line course which was taught nationwide in colleges for four years, entitled, "Business Laws of the Jungle." I have served as counsel to the Board of the Oyster Bay Chamber of Commerce, and the Italian American Citizen's Club of Oyster Bay.

     In 2009 I was one of the defense preparation attorneys on the Gotti case, and testified at his trial.

     I have been counsel to clients in hundreds of divorce and family court proceedings, hundreds of criminal defense cases, and hundreds of real estate transactions.  I bring over 29 years experience to the table--join me there.
